The Basics

How Casino Dice Works

Casino Dice operates on a number line from 0 to 100. You select a target number using the win chance slider — this sets what percentage of the number line you're covering. Then you choose a direction: Roll Over (win if the result is above your target) or Roll Under (win if the result is below your target).

A random number is generated. If it falls in your chosen zone, you win: bet × multiplier. If it doesn't, you lose your bet. That's the complete game — no cards, no phases, no decisions after the roll.

In this example: win chance is 40%, the target is 60, Roll Over is selected. You win if the result is above 60 — that's 40% of the 0–100 range. The multiplier at 40% win chance on 99% RTP is 0.99 ÷ 0.40 = 2.475×. A 10-coin bet pays 24.75 coins if it wins.

🎲
Roll Over vs Roll Under — are they different? No. At the same win chance setting, both directions produce identical multipliers and identical house edge. Roll Over at 50% and Roll Under at 50% are mathematically equivalent. The direction you choose is purely a preference for which half of the number line you want to cover.

Roll Over & Roll Under

Roll Over vs Roll Under — Rules Explained

Roll Over
You win when the rolled number is higher than your target threshold. The winning range extends from your target to 100.
Target 60, Roll Over → any result from 60.01 to 99.99 wins. Win chance: 40%.
Roll Under
You win when the rolled number is lower than your target threshold. The winning range extends from 0 to your target.
Target 40, Roll Under → any result from 0 to 39.99 wins. Win chance: 40%.

The win chance is always the percentage of the 0–100 range that falls within your winning zone. At 50% win chance, Roll Over sets target at 50 and wins above it; Roll Under sets target at 50 and wins below it. Both win exactly half the time.

In Royal Dice, you select your win chance first using the slider (2–98%), and the game automatically places your target accordingly. You can then toggle between Over and Under without changing your win chance percentage.

Step by Step

How to Play Royal Dice — One Round

1
Set your win chance (2–98%)
Use the slider to choose your win chance. Moving it toward 2% gives a rare, high-multiplier bet. Moving it toward 98% gives a frequent, low-multiplier bet. The multiplier updates in real time as you adjust the slider.
2
Choose Roll Over or Roll Under
Select which direction you want to bet. Both produce the same multiplier at the same win chance — this is purely a preference choice. Royal Dice defaults to Roll Over with the target number displayed.
3
Set your bet amount
Choose your wager using the chip buttons or manual entry. Quick preset chips (1, 5, 10, 50, 100) let you bet fast. The potential win is shown as: bet × multiplier.
4
Press Roll
A random number between 0 and 100 is generated. The dice animation plays and the result appears. If the number falls in your win zone, you receive bet × multiplier (plus any Lucky Multiplier or Combo bonus). If not, your bet is lost.
5
Collect or roll again
Your balance is updated immediately after each roll. Each roll is an independent event — the previous result has no bearing on the next. You can change your win chance, direction, or bet amount between any two rolls.

The Math

Multiplier Formula — Win Chance vs Payout

The multiplier in Dice is determined by one formula:

Multiplier = RTP ÷ (Win Chance ÷ 100)

Royal Dice uses 99% RTP (1% house edge). So the multiplier at any win chance is simply 0.99 divided by the win chance as a decimal. The higher the risk (lower win chance), the higher the multiplier — but the expected return per bet stays at 99% regardless of which win chance you choose.

💡
The equaliser: Every row returns exactly 9.9 coins on a 10-coin bet in the long run — the 1% house edge, unchanged across all settings. Choosing 2% win chance doesn't give you worse or better expected value than 98%. It gives you the same value distributed very differently: rare 49.5× wins vs frequent 1.01× wins. Choose based on the experience you want.

Royal Dice Exclusive

Royal Dice Features

Royal Dice adds several mechanics on top of the core Roll Over/Under framework that change how sessions play out.

Lucky Multiplier
Activates randomly on ~30% of winning rolls. Applies a 2×–10× bonus multiplier on top of your normal win. Generated at roll start — adds surprise without changing base odds.
🔥
Combo Streak
Consecutive wins build a Combo meter. ×2 at 4 wins, ×4 at 8 wins, ×8 at 16 wins. Combo multiplier stacks with your base win and Lucky Multiplier. Resets on any loss.
🤖
Auto-Roll
Continuous rolling at your current settings. Set Stop Win (auto-stop when balance reaches a target) and Stop Loss (auto-stop if balance drops below a threshold). Essential for hands-free sessions.
📊
Heat Map
Visual display of where the last 50 rolls landed on the 0–100 number line. Shows which zones have been hitting recently — useful for visual feedback, though each roll is independent.
🎁
Near-Miss System
When the roll lands just outside your win zone, a near-miss animation plays and a consolation bonus is awarded — keeping the tension high even on close calls.
🏆
Daily Goals & Ranks
Daily and weekly targets reward consistent play. Rank progression unlocks across 7 levels. All tracked locally — no account needed.

Combo Streak — How It Builds

🔥
Combo strategy: The Combo multiplier rewards consistency. At high win chance (e.g. 70–80%), win frequency is high enough to realistically build streaks to 4+ wins. At low win chance (e.g. 5%), streaks are rare and the Combo rarely activates. For maximum Combo value, use a win chance of 50–75% — frequent enough wins to build streaks, with a meaningful multiplier on each win.

Which Setting to Choose

Win Chance Guide — Matching Your Play Style

Since all win chance settings carry the same 1% house edge, the best setting is the one that matches how you want to experience the game.

Win chance recommendations by play style
Play StyleWin ChanceTypical MultiplierWhy
Beginners 50% 1.98× Near coin-flip probability — easy to understand. Win about half the time. Good for learning the game's feel.
Long sessions 75–90% 1.10–1.32× High win frequency keeps the session going. Bankroll drains slowly. Low excitement but maximum play time.
Balanced play 40–60% 1.65–2.47× Good balance of win frequency and multiplier size. Suitable for Combo streak building.
Chase big wins 10–20% 4.95–9.90× Wins are infrequent but meaningful. Longer losing streaks between wins — keep bets small.
Maximum thrill 2–5% 19.8–49.5× Rare wins, large payouts. Expect long runs without winning. Use very small bet sizes — 0.5–1% of balance per roll.
⚙️
Auto-Roll Stop Loss tip: When using Auto-Roll at low win chance (under 20%), always set a Stop Loss limit. At 5% win chance, runs of 20+ consecutive losses are mathematically normal. Without a Stop Loss, auto-roll can empty your balance before a win occurs. A Stop Loss at 20–30% of your session budget is a reasonable safeguard.
